So my boyfriend wears contacts– he had glasses when we met, but he hates them both because in the end contacts get kind of grubby and having to take them out and put them in becomes a huge hassle, so I decided to look into some information on Lasik Eye Surgery for him.

Turns out, very few places actually go into detail about their services or anything of the like, but I did find out that Lasik Eye Surgery is one of the most performed surgeries in the United States, how crazy is that? And apparently the turn around is rather short, as most people are recovered in a day or two– but some even recover in an hour or so, which would be amazing for us, because we’re gamers, and getting back to what we love and better able to see to boot would be super sweet.

So, while researching I stumbled across Stahl Eye Center, and realised there’s another reason I wished we lived in New York. The doctors are certified by the USAEyes, which is non-profit so you have to admit that it’s incredibly unbiased– I wouldn’t trust him to just anyone, I love him.

The doctors are apparently some of the best in the business, graduates from UCLA and Yale, to name a few. It’s crazy to think that if we were on the other coast we could actually get this done with little to no fear on our part.

Maybe we should plan a trip out to New York this year? Would be nice to see him comfortable and happy.
