Savings?

My birthday was recently, and the gift I got from my surrogate family (read: my boyfriend’s family) was a printer, since I’d been suggesting for months that if we could print out coupons we could save a whole bunch of money– but no one seemed to have any idea what the hell I was talking about. Regardless, we got the printer, and it still isn’t totally hooked up because we lack the USB connector needed (I love how printers and such tend to come lacking some key component just to make things harder.)

I really, really do want to get it hooked up, though, because I have all these big plans about using certain coupon sites and such to find good deals on things I can easily utilise for dinner or snacks and stuff, and get back into the routine of actually making food for the family, since when I don’t things tend to go downhill as far as I can tell.

I’ve located a few places that offer decent coupons for things and make sure that you’re absolutely getting the best you can out of your shopping tripping, including deals at Savings.com. They have a crazy amount of those online coupons you can use if you’re buying stuff online, but also have the option to hunt down and print some coupons for local shopping if that’s more your deal, which for me it is.

I’m still searching through several sites to see exactly what I might end up doing– have to account for the stores near me and stuff like that, convenience and the like, but I’m hoping in the end I can save us some money… though I’ll have to start the search again when we moved in a few months. C’est la vie.
