Fairy Tail Fansite

So, yes, I’ve decided to dive first into heading up a somewhat competent Fairy Tail fan-site. Since the anime series is still going and all, it should be easy enough for me to have something to put up every now and again, but right now I’m having to undergo a lot just to get it ready to go.
I spent like five hours yesterday trying to perfect a layout that I now do not like and am pondering creating an entirely new one– it’s kind of depressing, actually, I’m not sure I’ll ever make something I find completely beautiful– it’s against my self esteem lacking thereof.
So right now, I have a few things I need to do:
- Finish capping the episodes, this means fixing the episode I capped the other day that ended up screwing up, and also going back to retroactively cap the other episodes I haven’t gotten ahold of yet– I have about five capped from the latter end of the series so far, but nothing from the beginning, and all that needs to be done.
- I need to get soundtrack information and tracks uploaded for sampling and links to purchase all of the available merchandise. For some things this will be simple, for others I’ll be having a rough time actually finding links for.
- Episode Synopsis and opinion pieces need to be written– I also need to figure out how I’m going to include them in in a competent layout that won’t take up several pages of blankness– perhaps read more links along with download(s) and sample(s) of the images I’ve gotten for each one.
- Gathering links for an actual section for more information, and perhaps talking to people who might want to help or have sites in the like
- Settle on a layout and setup that I actually find enjoyable. This will likely be the hardest part. :\
I have a long way to go before it’s even close to being ready for people to browse or anything, but it’s something to do.
